Move It Danceworks is a family-friendly dance studio based in Island Bay, Wellington, with 16 years of experience inspiring a love of dance. Specialising in jazz, ballet, tap, and contemporary, Move It offers classes for all ages and stages — from preschoolers taking their very first ballet steps to experienced dancers keen to extend themselves through exams and competitions.

Students can work towards NZAMD exams in jazz, ballet, and tap, as well as FDS lyrical and contemporary, with opportunities to compete locally and nationally as soloists or in teams. The year culminates in a much-loved end-of-year showcase, where dancers take to the stage to celebrate their progress and share their achievements with friends and whānau. See more on their website.
